when the new owners took over the fir tree the food was rotten. it improved slightly but then disimproved again quickly. it is about average now. the drink is only ok!! the current owners spent alot of money on flat screen plasma tvs, duke boxes and poker machines to make the pub better but it didn't work! The pub is not a very good one overall. i would much prefer to go to the other two pubs in the village!!
