My grandpa Tom Hayes was born (1898)at the clock tavern, the youngest son of George and Kate Hayes,who ran the Pub. I've recently been told that my Grandpa was a cousin to 'The Big Fella' Michael Collins. My Great Grandma Kate's maiden name was Collins. Does anyone have any info or old pictures they could email me. I'll make my pilgrimage there soon.

the best option in Youghal for live music. Home to a younger crowd, so tune out the squealing and braying teens and keep a firm grip on your glass, and you're assured of (mostly) good music.
