I also had horrendous experience recently in July 09. I was amongst a large group who had a 3 course meal there. The barman was a plesent man and let us "borrow" an umbrella. We came back later to return the umbrella, but a lady banged the front door out in two of our faces, the others had just excaped her abuse and were inside. I never before witnessed what she did, she was parking outside, ran from the jeep in the pouring rain and banged the door out within 2inches of our faces. The rest of the group who were inside were served drinks by the barman,he even took money for our drinks , but then wondered where we and "the umbrella2 had gone. Our friends opened the door and let us in, it was just closing time, the barman was still serving and the door was open until it was banned in our faces. I explained to the barman what happened and one female member of staff appeared to be shocked whilst he appeared as the story didn't surprise him one bit. They lost out in a lot of business for the rest of our holidays,we spent 250euro on food there that night. To be treated in such a manner in this current economic climate i wonder how professional and business like the management and owners are to let good paying customers go elsewhere.
Had horrendous experience in July 08, with female employee.
Was overcharged by €4, and looked for refund. Female employee thrown change onto bar, in front of me, and other customers.
Was verbally abused with a friend of mine, by the same employee, later that evening.- In fron of her 8 mates....
She told me never to return to that pub ever, and said that her manager was 100% supportive of same.
Reported the incident to the manager on two seperate occasions- he took all details, but never responded.......
Reported then to the owner, and he never bothered to contact me. ( I wonder if he ever got the message...)
They lost out €500, in lost sales that week.....
Not Good for Business
