fantastic bar, George The owner is lovely & always laughing (quite tastey too! lol) The staff I have met Kevin & Jennifer are great friendly people they made my friends and I feel so welcome... Keep up the good work. see you over xmas

one of the main attractions in the town, full of characters - busy and often noisy but in the nicest possible way. Music is great especially when everyone joins in - singsong thats my favourite......

My first visit to Ireland, Cobh, in January, 2007, the first real pub in my life was Tarrants and that was love for ever, atmosphere, people, pint was excellent but over all, George and Lisa are the best part of the whole story- after that time George and I we are still in touch, and if I can say we are friends.

I went to cobh for a quiet afternoon with my 9 children and wife and tarrants offered first class quality and also great value too the bar tenders were so friendly and the day was one to remember

Was in for a quiet pint on Saturday, the ambiance in the pub could not have been equaled anywhere on the planet, the only thing more respectable than Georges staff is the level of cleanliness in the mens bathroom, looking forward to having a pint with you soon George

Visit Harry's Bar in Venice and George Tarrant's Bar in Cobh before you leave the planet: you will enjoy them both. Admire the stain glass window in Tarrant's. George, you are a gentleman.
