My wife & I stayed at the Schooner Tavern for the weekend of Halloween and without a doubt it was one of the best weekends ever. The accommodation was great, comfortable, warm, quiet and cosy. The family who own and run the Tavern are first class people and very friendly. The food there was really good with very large portions of everything. All food (meat, fish, etc) is locally sourced. The bread is homemade and is really great. The pint (my favourite Beamish) is really great. All-in-all, It was a great place to stay. My wife and I will be back there again for another stay. It was like a "Home -from-Home". Thank you Mike & Brid.

We recently visited Ballycotton and stayed in The Schooner, and really enjoyed our stay. The room and food were lovely and great value. We also had a good meal in the evening. We'll definately be back.

We stayed at the Schooner Tavern on the 13th March 2008 and we were made very welcome by Brid and Mike. The B&B room was very roomy and comfortable we also enjoyed a lovely meal and the atmosphere was great in this lovely Tavern.

My family and I went to visit ballycotton. We stayed in the schooner. My family and I felt very welcome there. The staff were very friendly towards us especially the owners Brid and Mike. It was a wonderful visit and we hope to go there again. I would recommend it to all of my friends!!!!
