A rich cultural oasis in an otherwise depressing environment. It's rich creamy pint and friendly colourful ambience form a delicate contrast against the coarse barren backdrop of it's surrounds. It's exists despite, rather than because of it's competetion. It's compact interior provides the perfect setting for the old fashioned local, and it's myriad of characters exude a warmth and richness of spirit unparalleled in most of it's contempararies. The whole experience is topped off with a pint of exquisite robustness and rich taste. The only downside to the Bar is the embarrissing profusion of Rugby types who inhabit it's dimensions and selfishly seek to influence viewing choice on the TV. Cork City FC first. Then that other Rubbish. Okay John?
