I apologise if I'm missing something here...judging by the previous reviews but this really is a gem in the town of Youghl. Great layout, music was deadly, and the crowd there were great fun. Was in this pub over Xmas hols. Good music, great layout and a fab crowd. Nuff' said.....

I was in this place about 4 weeks back with three of my college friends - for the weekend we were staying at the Quality Hotel which was out the beach nearby. For both the Friday and Saturday night, it was by far the best pub in the town - the place was busy and the music great. BTW - we're all around 30 and the crowd was (thankfully..!) well mixed and the craic was great. The pints were spot on...best Guinness I've had in a while, and the staff were courteous and efficient...given how busy it was. Both nights we had planned to visit a club nearby but never left Doyles. All agreed, you're guaranteed to have a great night here. Fair play to them.

Not quite a superpub, this premises has undergone at least two major extensions over the years. Live music every weekend, mostly good. Some of the most efficient bar staff one will find, J.D.'s is an anomaly, in that if an Emmerdale style aircraft crash occured in Youghal it would still be packed to the rafters. It must have the steadiest trade in the country, which ensures a good atmosphere every weekend. Recommended.
