Great pub, one of my favourite in cork for a few pints and has probably the best smoking area in cork if you are a smoker. i agree about the door staff though, i hate walking up to the door even when completely sober.

Gorgeous bar, beautiful barstaff, epic smoking room, doormen are a little over-attentive, music can be a bit boring, except for when they have gigs on, but it's constantly packed. Pretty much the place to go for 25-40s without resorting to one of Cork's many scobey cattle-markets.
