we were over for local work for 3 days. stayin the a local b+b up the road, 8 mins walk. If your looking for no frills pub, with a great pint and very nice family run (matt , and una) for a great bit of chat and craic this is the place. You wont get food, unless you get it yourself in the kitchen! you wont be left hungry. A gem of whats the definition of a rural irish country pub. We will be back for certain.

On the plus side it is your typical country pub with no airs and graces but a friendly welcome. One the bad side it is in dire need of referbishment. The bar area is old and grotty and the toilets are just about passable. The exterior also needs to be brought into the current century. I dont want to sound to harsh but thats my opinion of the place.

march 2009 - miller 3 euro all the time! guinness 3.80 / hein/bud/carls 4 euro. Free internet.. great local pub.. card texas game every thur. come sunday mornings to for mighty crack..12:30 am
