 what a lovely old style pub to find in the beautiful quaint village of clonegal. stumbled across it while dining in sha roe and shall definitely return and tell our friends.

Can not possibly say enough good things about this pub! Kevin and team are fantastic, ever cordial and welcoming like family that welcomes you home! The genuine article...

Very very poor pub.... We passed through clonegal after finishing the wicklow way. There are two or maybe three pubs in the village but we were told to go the pub down the street called osbournes. We had heard good reports on this pub from word of mouth and the wicklow way booklet. All I can say is NEVER again. The pub itself was lovely and clean, very old styled and small and compact. Bar staff and owner were just down right ignornant, very unhelpful and just not interested. The atmosphere was poor with just very nosey regulars, who kept staring at us as if we were aliens. Just not friendly at all. The pints of guinness were very poor and sloppy but cheap enough. All I can say is save your money and time and stay out.
