best pub for atmosphere and crack i've come across in along time..now a big united supporters club..shows all sports,horse racing,soccer,gaa and darts..pool table,dart board and jukebox,live music every weekend..The owner is a gentleman..nicest most generous publican i've met throughout my years..by far one of the best pubs i've been in. The Red Lion is a great spot for a pint. Always good banter from the locals and a cracking pint of the black stuff is always served. Staff are always friendly and Barth and Liz run a good house. As a matter of fact I am heading there tonight for a few.keith

i was in there the other night, not so much liuve music as a guy with a guitar and backing tracks. nice pub tho!

amazing pub..great sports bar,great atmosphere. owner is a gentleman very generous.Probly my favourite pub in town!!

Great pub. Ideal if you like good atmosphere, plenty of laughs and a good pint. It has a smoking area and has live bands on Saturday & Sunday. In my opinion the best pub in town over the years. Paul Byrne

One of the best pubs in town. The owner is a gentleman and there is always good craic in this pub. There is music at the weekend and it also has pool, darts and a juke box. colandeb@yahoo.co.uk
