This is one of Tullows best pubs started by the Late John Dalton a family pub now run by Ger Dalton it has tree bars the front bar popular with the local High Handicap Golfers so you might get hit by a stray golf Ball. The middle bar is popular with the locas and closet Coronation Steet fans alwas a good buzz in this bar. The lounge is popular at night time with cards and lately darts bt it will be a while before they start winning on the circuit. its also popular with local hotel staff and is busy most nights and especially at the weekends. Its the best bar in carlow, its always my first stop when I go to Ireland. Tara arms is a close second.

Very enjoyable atmosphere with a great pint. Always something going on with a great group of customers hanging out. Very friendly and Ger is the MAN!! foxy
