This is the last of the "irish pub" in carlow, no frills, staff are excellent and good craic, its the punters that make this a great watering hole. Good for doing a few bets with a bookies around the corner and for a chat and laugh. it has character and tradition, 2 THINGS THAT ARE LACKING IN MODERN BARS.

This Bar and Lounge connected are the real deal! Family run,great craic,the best toasted specials in Ireland. Granny and her sister found this place back some 16 years ago, every trip we have visited the Clerkin family,enjoying the warm friendly suroundings. I found my home away from home!
